BPW/NC Federation
is a network of North Carolina women who are committed to achieving
full equity for all women in education, government, business, and
the community. The North Carolina Federation consists of
Local
Organizations (LOs) around the state. Members of each BPW LO are
automatically members of, and receive the benefits of BPW/NC and BPW/USA.
Elections are held annually for
Leadership positions at the Local,
District, and State levels, and members are encouraged to participate
in leadership roles or on BPW committees.

The
BPW/NC Foundation was
established in June 1987 as a 501C-3 non-profit corporation. Its
purpose is to promote the general advancement of working women in
North Carolina, and its primary objective is to accumulate a $1
million endowment fund which will generate interest revenue to
support BPW/NC Foundation programs and scholarships.
The Foundation is funded through donations from individuals,
corporations, local BPW organizations, and fund-raising efforts held
by the Foundation. Donations can take the form of a monetary
donation, a bequest, trust fund, endowment, annuity, etc. All
contributions to the BPW/NC Foundation are tax-deductible. |
