The BPW/NC Foundation was established in June 1987 as a 501C-3 non-profit corporation.  Its purpose is to promote the general advancement of working women in North Carolina, and its primary objective is to accumulate a $1 million endowment fund which will generate interest revenue to ensure the support of BPW/NC Foundation programs and scholarships for years to come.

The Foundation is funded through donations from individuals, corporations, local BPW organizations, and fund-raising efforts held by the Foundation.  Donations can take the form of a monetary donation, a bequest, trust fund, endowment, annuity, etc.  All contributions to the BPW/NC Foundation are tax-deductible.

Cash Donations

If you are interested in making a tax-deductible cash donation to the BPW/NC Scholarship Fund, please make checks payable to BPW/NC Foundation, and designate "Scholarship Fund" in the memo area on the check.  If you would like your donation to go to one Scholarship Fund (see Scholarships for specifics) , please designate the name of the Fund in the memo area on the check.
